The synths echo Hitchcock’s scariest movie shot in the 60s, while the drums make you more than aware while simultaneously deranged on this outer planet destination this new label takes you to. Staple selector and producer Youandewan takes it to even further afield galaxies on the flip. Tribal drums and morphing samples, conjure free party energy, with the top end in the sky and the low end firmly rooted in expertly crafted club-ready transgression. The last remix by Huerta comes earnest and precise. Less low-swung and more f**k off. The baseline is simple but absolute. This is squishy, mushy, dirty dance music. One for the books, collection - this is one for the heads.

Rare bonus disc from seminal UK Rave group Drum Club. Originally released as part of a limited edition pressing of their 1994 album “Drums Are Dangerous”. Both sides feature an alternative dance floor remix of the track "Illuminated" where ethereal vocals of “It’s A Fine Day” singer Kirsty Hawkshaw are layered over dreamy percussive workouts.

When it came out in 1996, Anthony Teasdale’s ‘Deep In NW5’ was regarded as one of the key records of the UK deep house scene. Since then, it’s become an acknowledged classic on the MC Projects label.Now it’s back – as part of a five-track EP of deep house and electro – that shows Teasdale’s knack for melody and dancefloor sophistication is as strong as ever.The new edit of ‘Deep In NW5’ keeps every element of the original but shortens the running time a little, and adds punchier drums more suited to today’s clubs.The second track, ‘Jan’s Hammer’, is influenced by the electro records Teasdale loved as a kid and the theme music of ’80s cop shows. Fans of Miami Vice – and ‘Crockett’s Theme’ in particular – will get the reference in the title.Flip over for ‘In Deep We Trust’, which mixes gentle, Rhodes piano melodies with punchy four-to-the-floor beats. Imagine Mr Fingers working with Boards Of Canada, and you’ll get the idea.The next tune, ‘Entwined Minds’, holds a special place for Teasdale. A tribute to Andrew Weatherall (who Tony remixed in 1997), it’s a slice of dancefloor electro-house with a gorgeous string breakdown. And when those 808 drums kick back in, it bangs!Finally, ‘Resonant Pianos’: another deep-houser, this time made up of rumbling classical piano and haunting orchestration: the perfect way to finish off this most accomplished of EPs.Teasdale says: “I’d always wanted to make an EP on which every tune is brilliant – and you change your mind on which one’s your favourite. I also like to give people value for money: the five different tunes here, all of which I’m proud of, represent that.”

The first EOS show aired in the middle of the lockdown in February 2021. Since then, we have shared musical moments and spent a lot of time in front of screens. He was alone in a dark room, making full use of KAWAI's 1990 digital and FM synthesizers , tracing the shape of nature and resonating the micro and macro sound worlds.
